New Elevator Progress
The Two Agencies: One Vision capital campaign is gaining ground and our first goal of the campaign is coming true. Our office building we share with our sister nonprofit organization, Full Access, will soon be completely accessible to all when our new elevator is complete. Thanks so much to our donors for making this happen. We are continuing to reach out to gain additional support to help pay off the mortgage on the building so we can divert more of our existing revenue streams into our programs.
On September 7th we will have a press conference at our office building at 11:00am announcing the arrival of our new elevator and local mayors will declare September as “Look Me in the Eye Month,” in honor of our public awareness campaign that encourages the community to acknowledge all people and look each other in the eye. Hope to see you there!
Eugene Celebration Parade 2010
Last year Full Access and Oregon Supported Living program Clients walked in the Eugene Celebration Parade and those on the sidelines didn’t really know who we were.
This year, they knew and showed great appreciation for our agencies and our people. Take a few minutes to watch this video of what happened.
We’ll be back for the Springfield Christmas Parade and who knows, maybe even the Rhody Festival Parade in Florence, Oregon.
Remember to “Look Me In The Eye.”

Look Me In The Eye
Two Agencies One Vision is presenting Look me in the Eye as a public awareness effort on behalf of the people we serve through Oregon Supported Living Program and Full Access. Thanks to the many guests and community leaders thyat showed their support by attending our press conference to launch Look Me in the Eye week, August 15 – 21, 2010. We would also like to thank our speakers, Eugene Mayor Kitty Piercy, Springfield Mayor Sid Leiken and Executive Director of Kidsports Bev Smith.
Look Me in the Eye is a campaign to break down barriers between people, especially on behalf of people who experience a developmental disability. We are all members of our communities. We need to reach out to one another and looking someone in the eye is a great start! We want to raise awareness about Full Access and OSLP; specifically the good work we do in the community, the success our clients achieve, and to acknowledge our dedicated staff.
