Meet Amie

Amie is dedicated to improving healthcare quality and access for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Her career began at age 18 as a Direct Support Professional with OSLP, where she spent 14 years providing hands-on support before pursuing her nursing license. After completing her nursing degree, Amie gained clinical experience in outpatient care, skilled nursing, and acute medical care at McKenzie Willamette Hospital. Amie returned to OSLP as an Agency Nurse in 2019 driven by her belief in person-centered support and her commitment to empowering the people she supports and their staff through meaningful healthcare education. She is passionate about all things science and is dedicated to helping those she supports to access the care they deserve. Outside of work, Amie enjoys spending time with her family, her animals, and tending to her garden. |
